How to play
Drag from one octopus to a neighbor to link them, and drag again for a double link. Tap a knot to untie a link. Each octopus links exactly as many tentacles as it has. Links run in straight lines and can never cross, and every octopus must join one big group.
Every board has exactly one answer. Settings > How to Play explains the rules any time.
Moves and hearts
From level 6, boards have a limit on moves and the game shows how many are left. From level 6, giving up or leaving a level also costs a heart. You can hold up to 5 hearts, and one comes back every 20 minutes.
Coins and boosters
Coins come from playing. They buy boosters and hearts in the Shop. This version has no ads and sells nothing for money.
- Ink Hint shows the next move and why.
- Brain Wave places one correct link.
- Heart Check makes every wrong link let go.
- Ninth Brain fills every link that plain counting forces.
A booster is used only when it does something. If it has nothing to do on the board, you keep it.
Stars and rewards
Earn up to three stars for a tidy solve, and replay any level to improve them. Daily rewards, a chest every ten levels, trophies and a new daily puzzle give you more to come back to.
Saved progress
You play without an account. Progress is saved on your device, and the web version saves it in your browser. It does not move between devices. Removing the app or clearing your browser data can erase it.
